Chocolate love....

I love love love chocolates. I have a bar of Valhrona Caribe stashed away in my cupboard and I have been searching for the perfect recipe to use it. Then I realized why would I want to complicate my life with a complicated recipe when a simple brownie could bring out the taste of the chocolate. I'm just waiting for the brownies to be ready. I popped it in the oven a while ago and the smell of the chocolate is filling our house. Yummy!  I used the recipe from this site. I will post a picture of it once it comes out of the oven.

Apple has announced its newest baby.  The iPad. It's like an oversized iPod or iPhone. I want i want i want!!!

Sale sale sale!!!

I was at Ayala yesterday to buy some groceries at the Metro and while waiting for the Husband, I wandered around the mall to do some window shopping. I saw the sale sign on the window of Marks & Spencer so I decided to go in. They are having a "Further Reduction" sale meaning the marked down prices are even marked down further. I immediately sent a text message to the husband to inform him that the shirts that they have were on sale. The shirts we bought were priced at PhP375 each so we immediately bought 2. If not for the budget constraints, the husband would have splurged on a few more shirts. The original price the the shirt was PhP2225. What a bargain!

Lazy sundays

I can' beleive that the weekend is almost over the same with the month. January is almost coming to a close hat means 1 monh down and 11 more months to go till the new year. Time flies really fast dont you think?

Sundays are usually spent with the family. Since relocating to Cebu, we had a hard time keeping with the schedule of going to mass every Sunday. I even researched for he mass schedule of he different parishes here. We prefer to attend the English masses due to the fact that we have a hard time understanding the Visayan language. We do understand some words and phrases but he words that are being used during the mass are way out of our vocabulary league. :)
I just finished placing the chicken in the oven. Its my first time to do an oven-fried chicken. I hope it turns out ok:) I'll share the recipe when it passes the taste test of my kiddos:)
