New Routines

We left Cebu on a sunny Saturday morning.

Been missing friends that I made...

But looking forward to new routines...

like school activities

attending kiddie parties

Having some me-time over coffee and pancakes

Being there to check on school progress and coaching =)

and having the time to stop and appreciate all these good things around.

I love my life! Thank You for making it possible.

Time to Celebrate

Celebration Cupcakes

I really do not like game days.  I feel the tension rising as the hour nears.  When the game starts, I either retreat to the room and try not to listen to my hubby's comments about the game or  I busy myself with other things so as not to find myself thinking about the game. Today, instead of retreating to facebook, I decided to bake.

I got the recipe from Bakehappy's blog.  It's a fairly easy recipe for a chocolate cake.  The ingredients are easy to source since most of them are pantry staples.  I'm glad I stumbled upon this site.  The recipe is indeed a keeper.  I call them celebration cupcakes since we won the game.  I can now breathe, relax and eat my cupcake in peace because  Ateneo takes game one versus La Salle 82-71.

Sunrise over the Islands

I can't believe half of the year has passed.  The first 6 months of the year flew by really fast and before we know it, we'll be hearing Christmas songs being played over the airwaves and Christmas music videos being broadcast on TV!  I would have to start doing my gift list this early.

The family is on a transition stage yet again.  Hopefully this will be the last major move that we will do.  I am getting tired of packing and unpacking our things.  I believe this move will be the last as there is really no place like home.

Yep!  Home.  The whole family will be going back to where we all started.  I just can't wait for that day to come.  I am literally counting the days.  Nothing's going to stop me and there will be no turning back!
